BOAT HARBOUR

Located near the main basin but separated by smaller channels the boat harbour of Tiszanána is one of the major facilities at Lake Tisza. The berths can receive larger ships in addition to fishing boats and motor boats. The bigger water vehicles are used primarily on the river and not on the lake. The confluence of the river and the lake and the changing sequence of islands and headlands inviting exploration assure the attractiveness of the area.
The viewpoint built near the “live” Tisza provides a glimpse of the boat harbour, the beach and of ships plying the waters of the river. As a result of recent developments Dinnyéshát has become the most significant port at Lake Tisza. Its modern and spectacular pier system capable of receiving and holding a high number of ships is expected to lead to a breakthrough in visitor numbers and function as a catalyst for the tourism-related investments of private entrepreneurs.
