As we are enclosed in our homes by the pandemic and entrapped by the gloomy fall I fondly recall the warm summer days at the beach.

Dinnyéshát, the beach of Tiszanána is the loveliest swimming area of Lake Tisza. The grassy resting areas along the levee, the gradually deepening tranquil waters and the sandy coast provide an ideal vacation spot for couples and families with children. The deck chairs located on the well-manicured lawn invite sun worshippers to cool down in the shade provided by leafy trees and colourful beach umbrellas.

In addition to opportunities to rent bicycles and paddle boats, a renewed harbour awaits boating enthusiasts and those in search of a romantic experience can cross to the neighbouring tiny island with a manually operated ferry boat. Romantic walks can be taken between the beach and the river on remodelled walkways and pedestrian bridges. A small viewing platform located nearby the river yields a lovely sight at the beach, the river and ships passing by or arriving at the harbour.
